Helen,
I am so sorry to hear of your father's passing. I have such fond memories of him, and have seen so many of his characteristics in you! He worked endlessly, his love of the outdoors and his garden, always there poking around doing something. Give my best to all your family, and God Bless you all.

Dear Aunt Helen, Cousins Helen, Wendy, Curtie, Johnny,"Linda, Anita, Lenora and all your families;
So sorry to hear of Uncle Vasco's passing. Although we called him Uncle Grumpy, he truly was anything but grumpy. He kept us fed on the best organic foods for years and the methods on how to produce them!!! (and you had to listen to get it right!) He was so wise and always willing to share his expertise. Although he may have believed that we should not plant flowers because we could not eat them, I think it was his way of making sure we were always using our noggins to make good decisions, not to mention keeping Gram on her toes. I remember when he helped Dad put in the walk way to our house with cement and flagstone. He was so determined to do it perfectly - we called it Uncle Grumpy's train track for the longest time. We all enjoyed his visits after church on Sundays. Ava spent time with Mom and Dad this past Memorial Day, she even got to meet Uncle Vasco and knows he IS the family gardener. Someday in the near future I send some copies those photos to Aunt Helen. He leaves this planet a much better place, we have benefited from his love/knowledge. I am so sorry I was not able to attend the wake or Mass. My family has had fevers on and off for five days now. I am sure you did not want those germs around.
With fond memories, warm thoughts and prayers to you all, especially Aunt Helen -
Love, Denise DiGrigoli and family

Anita, Helen, Linda and Lenora,
Vinnie and I are sad to read of the passing of your Father. We send our sincere sympathy to all.
I would tell Anita that every time we drove past their house, I would always glance over and more times than not, Dad would be working in the yard and his garden. I will miss that.

Dear Helen and family,
Our condolences to all of the family and extended family of Vasco.
I am so glad that I stopped by to see him on my last trip home. I was amazed at how well he was doing at that age. He was such a large part in my younger years growing up. I have nothing but fond memories of those years and love to talk about them today. And thank you too Helen for the part you played in our lives that we all charish and hand down these memories to our children and grandchildren.
Love to all,
Bernie and Barbara
