ADAMS -- Annie Elfreida Pasotti, 89, of 1 Berkshire Square, a former longtime resident of Walling Road, died Tuesday at Williamstown Commons.
Born in Adams on Sept. 17, 1918, daughter of Stephen and Elizabeth Anlauf Marsden, she attended local schools.
Mrs. Pasotti was employed by the former Waverly Fabrics in the sewing department, retiring in 1980. Before that, she worked for the former Berkshire Fine Spinning Associates for many years.
She was a member of St. Mark's Episcopal Church and of its vestry, guild and choir, and was a Sunday school teacher for many years. She also was active with the annual bazaar and was a member of the Adams Senior Citizens.
She enjoyed sewing, reading and traveling and was a fan of the Boston Red Sox.
Her husband, Louis F. Pasotti, whom she married Sept. 17, 1958, died July 18, 2004.
She leaves a sister, Ruth O'Keefe of Williamstown.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- Services for Annie E. Pasotti, who died Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2007, will be Friday at 9 a.m. from PACIOREK FUNERAL HOME, 13 Hoosac St., with a Requiem Eucharist and Burial Office at 10 a.m. at St. Mark's Episcopal Church celebrated by the Rev. R. Ellen White, priest-in-charge. Burial will follow in Bellevue Cemetery. Calling hours will be Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to St. Mark's Episcopal Church in care of the funeral home. Mrs. Pasotti also leaves a niece, Ann M. John of Saratoga Springs, N.Y.; a nephew, Robert Marsden of Stockbridge; and a grandnephew, Christopher Marsden of Stockbridge. She was predeceased by two brothers, Nelson Marsden, during action in World War II, and George Marsden; and a nephew, James O'Keefe. Annie lived next door to my grandparents on Jordan Street and hung around with my mother and her sisters. All of us "kids" have pictures taken with Annie and I smile everytime I see them. She will be missed. God Bless her.
