Dear Powers Family,
It was very sad for me to hear of Franks passing. We worked for 12 years together when he was Council and Mtg. Atty. for the Farragut Coop Bank in So. Boston - I was only 21 then in 1967 and he taught me so much about people and how to respect everyone no matter what their station in life... he always called me Jimmy.. I was so happy that he had such a great life... my sincere condolances...

My deepest sympathies,
Frank was a close friend of the family far before I was born…His mesmerizing stories will certainly live on with each annual Irish-Lithuanian celebration between the Powers and Preskenis families at Humarock beach.
I am extremely blessed to have known such an accomplished man, truly an inspiration not only to me, but my family as well. We will never forget you Frank.

Claire, what a MAN you were married to. The stories my mother would tell, as well as knowing him personally over the years reminded us that there is good on this earth. I know how empty yourt heart will be for a while, but I also know how full your heart and soul is of the memories you shared with such a bright and delightful man. Please know I am thinking of you always and my prayers are with you and your family. Love, Kathleen Assad (Connolly)

Aunt Claire, Tom, Mary Kate, and the entire Powers family,
I was so sorry to hear about Frank's illness and passing. I have so many happy memories of the good times spent at Humarock Beach. It was a wonderful time of life that we all shared growing up. Frank taught me how to fish at beachside which is something I will never forget, and he had such an incredible zest for life. The fourth of July always remains a special holiday for me because of the times spent at the Powers home. I will cherrish those memories always. Thinking of you at this difficult time with many warm thoughts and prayers.
Love Jeanne

My deepest sympathies.
Frank was a friend of my family since his days at Harvard when he met my dad and uncle at St. Paul's Church and friendship developed that they all cherished.
Frank was a mentor to the newly elected Clerks of Courts, of which I am one. He was greatly appreciated as well by the many attorneys and litigants that had to access our courts.
Again on behalf of my family, the other clerks and myself --- our deepest sympathies. He will be greatly missed but not forgotten.
Sincerely,
Michael A. Sullivan

Dear Clare, Katie, Tomo and all the Powers Family,
My sister Helen called me yesterday to let me know Frank had passed away. It was such a sad feeling to know that Frank who in my mind and I know so many others "Who was Bigger than Life" now had moved into another world. I spent some time running through the special memories of Frank, since he was such a big part of the Hennigan/Sheehan/Powers family memories I had as a child. It gave me comfort to know know that in Heaven, Frank could now grow the biggest tomatoes, ski down the biggest mountains backwards and dance endless nights away with his amazing style!
I will miss you Frank, the memories from my Hennnigan childhood days are blessed with you in them. I will never forget the ride from Boston to North Conway in the blizzard where you and I, went up and down the hills of Massachusetts and New Hampshire sideways! We did make it though.......only to ski the next morning in the most incredible powder I ever remember in the Northeast in my lifetime!
I think the best part of that whole experience for me was hearing you tell the story of our treachereous trip year after year to anyone who would listen, with such Frankisms. I even found myself holding onto my seat each time you told it, waiting to hear if we made it each time.......You were an incredible story teller!
I will miss you Frank, as everyone will that was lucky enough to be part of your life. I feel lucky though, to know I will always have the memories to cherish of the many happy times our families shared.
Clare, Katie, Tomo and all the Powers Family, my thoughts and prayers go out to you during this difficult time. I can only imagine the loss you are feeling.
Thank you for letting me share my thoughts, feelings and memories of Frank. He was such a special person who I am thankful to have had in my life.
Love and prayers,
Kate Hennigan
