Josephine Montuori Obituary

83, passed away peacefully on March 27, 2008, at her home in Cave Creek, Arizona. She was born in MA on April 23, 1924. She grew up in Wakefield, MA and married Patrick J. Montuori (deceased) who she met at the Watertown, MA arsenal. They started a family and raised 6 children in Lexington, MA. She was also a long time Summer resident of North Falmouth, MA. She was totally devoted to her husband and raising her 6 children. Josephine brought much happiness and joy to her family and friends. She is survived by her 6 children: Judith A. Hale of Wakefield, MA, Lorraine M. Montuori and her husband Howard Deshler of Seabrook, NH, Kenneth M. Montuori and his wife Roberta of Waltham, twin boys Patrick A. Montuori of Newton and Joseph R. Montuori of Newton, and Carol O'Brien of Lexington. Sister of Anthony Petrillo of North Reading, Mary Oliveri of Wakefield, and Florence Weaver of Wakefield. Grandmother of Brad and Andrew Hale; Brittany and Alex Montuori; and Amy and Matthew O'Brien. Josephine is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Douglass Funeral Home, 51 Worthen Rd., LEXINGTON, Friday April 4 at 9am followed by a Mass of Christian burial at St. Brigid Church, Lexington at 10am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours Thursday 4-8 PM. Donations in her memory may be made to Hospice of the Valley, 1510 E. Your mother was a very special lady who will ALWAYS be remembered in our hearts.

May GOD be with you all at this time; and may God lighten your heavy hearts as you all grieve the loss of your mother.

Remember always that you all were such good children to your mother. Her good job on this earth refects in all of you as she lives on in each and every one of you. She was very special.

Dear Lorraine, I am very sorry to here of the loss of Aunt Josie. I will always have fond memories of the loving ways that Aunt Josie gave to her Family and still gave that special attention to her nieces and nephews. To the Montouri Family...I am very sorry to learn of your mother's passing. She was a lovely, gentle lady.

This sad news did bring back memories of what terrific friends Pat and Dad were. How much they enjoyed their times together...and how Josie would laugh at their jokes.
