In Dorchester, formerly of Winchester, March 29. Beloved husband of Ruth M. (Bouzan) for 53 yrs. Loving father of Donald W. Westwater Jr., Daniel L. Westwater, and David P. Westwater, all of Dorchester. Brother of Joseph J. Westwater of VA, Sr. Martha S.C.H., Sr. Joanne R.G.S., Robert L. Westwater of Reading, and the late Agnes C. Westwater and Evelyn Doyle. Survived by several nieces and nephews. Visiting hours in the Murphy Funeral Home, 1020 Dorchester Ave., DORCHESTER, Tuesday 4-8 P.M. Funeral Mass in St. Margaret Church of Blessed Mother Teresa Parish, Wednesday morning, April 2, at 10 A.M. Relatives and friends invited. Veteran WW II, U.S. Army, recipient of Bronze Star and Combat Infantry Badge. Donald saw action in the European Theatre, lOth Armored Division under Gen. Patton. Retired Criminal Lawyer & Chief Counsel, Dept. of Health and Human Services, for over 12 yrs. Graduate of Boston University School of Law, Class of 1950, JD, L.L.B. Mr. Westwater,
Sir, I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served with the U.S. Army as a combat infantryman in Europe during WW II
fighting the Germans as a member of the "Tiger" Division-the 10th Armored Division which saw heavy combat from the Battle of Bulge in December of 1944 through to VE Day. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.
