Mr. Smith,
Sir, as a fellow Marine I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served in the USMC during WW II. It was the history and accomplishments made by you and your fellow Marines back then that all of us Marines who followed in your footsteps have always tried to live up to. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.

I will miss Fred and all the times we
shared at Epoch. He could make me
laugh with that dry sense of humor. He always added something special to my day. My thoughts are with you during this difficult time.

Dear Auntie Eileen and family, Please accept my condolences. Uncle Fred was always wonderful to my children when we visited. He would take them to the park and sometimes out for breakfast. I will never forget those times. My kids remember him as the unclude who could loose a finger, (trick), always a commedian. He was a wonderful, funny, and awesome Uncle and like he told all of his neices "I was his favorite." He told that to all of us and always made us feel special. I loved him dearly and will miss him. Love, Carol and family

Semper Fi Marine Smith.
The Dept. of Ma. Marine Corps League thanks you for your service to God, our Country, and to our beloved Corps. To Fred's family we send our sympathies and our prayers on your loss and the loss of our Brother. Fred has now reported to our Supreme Commandant for his last and best assignment. He will be on the streets of Heaven watching over you always. Although his earthly being is no longer with us, his spirit will live on in your hearts thru the memories he left behind.
May God bless you and stay with you thru this sorrowful time.
