“Do not Stand at My Grave and Weep”
Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there; I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow,
I am the sun on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there; I did not die.
-Mary Elizabeth Frye-

Angels
When you were born, an angel smiled,
As you became a child, an angel sat on your shoulder
When you became an adult, an angel held your hand
As you grew old, an angel walked down the road with you,
And, when you died, another angel got their wings.

Gram,
I always tried to tell you how much you meant to me and to thank you for all that you gave me and I truly hope that is something you took with you. As much as it hurts to not have you here with us right now, you have waited a long long time to be reunited with your late husband and deserve that more than anyone. To all that knew and loved you, you will never be truly gone. You have left a piece of yourself in all of us, in our hearts and in our minds. I can not thank you enough for everything. I Love You!!!!!!
Love Stacy

Death Is Nothing At All
Death is nothing at all
I have only slipped away into the next room
I am I and you are you
Whatever we were to each other
That we are still
Call me by my old familiar name
Speak to me in the easy way you always used
Put no difference into your tone
Wear no forced air of solemnity or sorrow
Laugh as we always laughed
At the little jokes we always enjoyed together
Play, smile, think of me, pray for me
Let my name be ever the household word that it always was
Let it be spoken without effort
Without the ghost of a shadow in it
Life means all that it ever meant
It is the same as it ever was
There is absolute unbroken continuity
What is death but a negligible accident?
Why should I be out of mind
Because I am out of sight?
I am waiting for you for an interval
Somewhere very near
Just around the corner
All is well.

My sympathy goes out to the family of Evelyn Gaynor. My friend Terri was a wonderful daughter to her, and Mrs. Gaynor was a warm, loving woman. She will be greatly missed by her family.
