To all who knew him, Arthur Wheelock, aka Bopa, was an extraondary man of integrity, warmth, understanding and love. In him one saw his commitment to his home, his beautiful wife Anne and his wonderful family. The love he extended to me and my daughter, I will hold dear in my heart.

I want to thank you for all the support, calls & notes for myself & family - my father was a great role model to all that knew him, a devoted Uxbridge resident that loved his town and it's people, a caring businessman who looked at Stanley Woolen's employees as family - a special person who has enriched our lives in so many ways.

As a child of 9 or 10 I remember my father, Willard G. Hersee taking me to the mill to sell wool. He said shake hands wilth Mr. Wheelock (Stanley) and look him in the eye. I suspect that would have been Arthurs father. I am sorry for your loss and offer a prayer for his family. I am Richard E. Hersee, 72 and living in a modest condo in Jensen Beach, Florida.
