to Roger,Dianne, Mike, and all the Gervasi family. I'm so sorry for your loss, my prayers and thoughts are with you all. Shirley was a remarkable woman and a very compassionate and friendly person to everyone. Even through all her pain and sickness there always was a smile. She truly was and always will be an angel looking down on you and wanting you to go on with your lives with all the happy memories you all had together over the years. I was so glad to have known her even for the short time. and her telling me how proud she was of her children and how very good you all were to her.So roger, dianne, and mike, that I got to know I could see the pain you are going through, now be glad she isn't in pain anymore, and remember the good times. Remember she's with god now and you know she's an angel watching over you all. I'm glad to have been a part of such a wonderful family as you all are. Take care of yourselves and one another. God bless you all.

Michael and Family,
I know first hand how heavy your hearts are right now and the emptiness with your loss. You must find a way to fill that void with the many happy memories that will get you through.
Death is a part of life and memories a part of living, saying goodbye to those we love is part of unselfish giving.
I am certain as a mom that her joy was in watching you grow, her pride was in watching you live, and as a mother and wife, her comfort came in your caring and commitment at her side to the end.

Michael and all of the Gervasi Family,
Last night was such a fitting tribute to your mom and all of you. I sat and listened to so many people tell such wonderful stories about your mom; what a kind, caring soul she always was. I know this to be true as she was always so kind to my mother and father all those years when she stopped to talk to them on Coolidge Ave. and take my mother to church with her. She will be missed by all. Your will remain in my thoughts and prayers. God Bless.

It was a wonderful tribute to Shirly today at the wake. So many friends, so many memories. I for one will always remember her smile and always feeling welcome in her home. She was a wonderful person. May you all cherish those memories at this difficult time.

You are such an incredible family that I have had the blessing of being a part of. Your mom is one of the reasons (along with Rog) why you are such a special family--what an amazing job she did raising 5 boys and 2 girls (all with grace, humor and love)! She was an incredible "little" lady who was bigger than life. I am so blessed to have known her and all of you.
