David Dechene Obituary

52, of Plymouth, formerly of Buzzards Bay, died Tuesday, April 1, 2008 at Jordan Hospital. He was the husband of Corinne Fraza and the father of Nicole Langlois of Wareham, Crissy Langlois of Medford and Michele Langlois of Middleborough. Also survived by his brothers, Ernest Dechene and his wife, Patricia of Buzzards Bay, and Paul Dechene and his wife, Amy of Everett, WA; sisters, Virginia Birdsong and her husband, H. Frank of Chester VA, Margaret Rogers, also of Chester, VA and Anne Dixon and her husband, Jeffrey Robbins of Bronson, FL; many nieces and nephews and many great nieces and nephews. He was the grandfather of the late Andrew David Langlois. David was a member of local #104 IBEW and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He enjoyed animals and fishing and was an avid Red Sox and Patriots fan. Calling hours will be held on Monday, April 7th from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm in the Nickerson-Bourne Funeral Home, 40 MacArthur Blvd. in Bourne. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM on Tuesday, April 8th at St. Margaret's Catholic Church, 141 Main Street, Buzzards Bay. Burial will follow in Oakland Grove Cemetery in Bourne. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the IBEW Local 104 Brotherhood Fund, 130 West Street, Walpole, MA 02081, Jordan Hospital Oncology Department, c/o Jordan Hospital, Plymouth, MA 02360 or to a charity of the donor's choice.
