Elizabeth Ann Atkinson

Of Atlanta, Georgia passed away at Emory University Hospital on Tuesday, April 2, 2008 after a long illness. Elizabeth "Betty" was born and raised in Boston and was educated at Girls Latin High School. She was hired as a flight attendant in 1967 by Northeast Airlines and later completed her 17 year career with Delta Airlines after the merger. She is survived by her husband James Everett Atkinson of Atlanta and her brother Ronald Schindler of Medfield, Mass. There are also 8 nieces and nephews. Betty's Memorial Service will be held at The Church of the Apostles in Atlanta at 3585 Northside Parkway. The Reverend Ron Ervin will conduct the service assisted by Reverend Stan Carder.
