John Walsh Obituary

Of Carver, formerly of Plymouth, 83, on April 19th, at home. Beloved husband of the late Geraldine M. (Hawkes), he is survived by his loving children, John J. Walsh Jr. of Plymouth, Michael G. Walsh of New Jersey, Lawrence P. Walsh of Dover, NH, Annette McGourty of Plymouth and Gale Barton of Plymouth. He also leaves 11 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. A funeral mass will be held on Friday, April 25th at St. Bonaventure's Church in Plymouth at 10 AM followed by burial at the Mass. National Cemetery in Bourne. Visiting hours will be held at the Richard Davis Funeral Home, 619 State Rd (Rt. 3A), PLYMOUTH (Manomet) on Thursday, April 24th from 2 to 8 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the American Heart Association, 20 Speen St, Framingham, MA 01701-4688, the American Lung Association, 460 Totten Pond Rd, Suite 400, Waltham, MA 02451 or to the New England Home for Little Wanderers, Development Department, 271 Huntington Ave, 2nd Floor, Boston, MA 02115. Mr. Walsh,
Sir, I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served during WW II and for being a member of the Greatest Generation. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.
