Mari Wimborne Obituary

Of Austin, Texas, passed away April 18, 2008. She was born in London, England on Oct. 14, 1925 to Harry and Sarah Wimborne. She resided in Newton and the surrounding areas for 58 years until 2004, when she moved to Austin. Mari is survived by her daughter, Lisa Rose McCready of Austin; son, Dana Rosencranz of Weston, MA and five grandsons. Graveside Services were held on Tuesday, April 22, 2008 at Agudas Achim of Austin Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Meals on Wheels of Austin; 3227 East 5th St., Austin, TX 78702 or www.mealsonwheelsandmore.org or Lighthouse Hospice, 2913 Williams Dr., Georgetown, TX 78628.

I'm so sorry to hear of Mari's passing. I think of her often and miss her world of beauty and exquisite taste. She definitely touched my heart and enhanced my life with the many books, films and items she shared with me. May she rest in peace and my love to Lisa and her family.
