Wow Daddy..This has been the hardest year of my life! Every day there is some one or something that reminds me of you. I know that you did not want us to mourn for you because you are finally at peace, but the emptiness that I feel inside is overwhelming at times. It seems like only yesterday you were walking me down the aisle (giggling) and I danced with you at my reception. It seems like only yesterday you were holding Lil' Guy and Bryan in your arms. It seems like only yesterday we were taking those bus trips to the amusement park. It seems like only yesterday we were riding on that ice cream truck through Franklin Field. It seems like only yesterday we were hanging out at Salem Willows for the Black Picnic. It seems like only yesterday we were gathered at Aunt Josie's, Aunt Carolyn's or Aunt Charlotte's house for those family dinners and cook outs laughing, eating and enjoying each other's company while you,Uncle Buster or Steven were constantly taking pictures. It seems like only yesterday I was clutching your picture to my heart as I watched Barack Obama's Inaugural Address, so proud to have witnessed history, just knowing you were smiling down from Heaven as you watched with me. I have so many wonderful memories of such an amazing man....Missing You Like Crazy!! Love Always and Forever, Your Pammi

Wow, it is so weird that every season, holiday or just any day.. there is something that reminds us of u. It's that time of year when everyone would be beating down the door of "El Hombre" to get their taxes done. At least you can finally rest.
Miss You!

Well, It's been a while. There is not a day that goes by without thoughts of you, daddy. I've been told that the times of sadness get easier as times goes on but I feel the same way today as I did on 4/21/08. Holidays will be tough for the entire family because we all know how much you loved being with family, eating, laughing and enjoying the company.
You are so missed.
I love you

Hey Daddy....
There's a lot going on here right now....I'm trying to hang in there but it is getting difficult.
~Daddy, I really need your guidance right now~
......And YES DADDY I JUST SAW that blue jay in the tree in our favorite spot, and I know that this is my sign to just hang in there and that no weapon formed against me will prosper! I know it is your way of telling me that God will not close one door without opening another! Thank You Daddy! Love, Pammi

Well Daddy,
some weird things are happening. I know these are all signs from you to let me know you are okay. I am glad that you are okay but it doesn't stop me from wanting you here with us. I have 4 days left before that big vacation and it is sometimes hard for me to imagine enjoying myself, taking lots of pictures and not having you to send them all to when I get back.
I love you

Hey Daddy - I was talking with Bryan last night, and he told me how you were there with him while he was taking his final exams. I cracked up when he said you asked him "So Bryan, you were busting your _____ on that Calculus Final, huh? and he replied "yeah, while I was busting my ______, you were sittin' there playing cards, huh?!" He was grateful that you were there with him during that extremely stressful time (right after you passed), and he said that he is even more grateful to know that you are ALWAYS with him! We are all aware that we will NEVER walk alone, because you are ALWAYS with us!! Love you, Poppi!! Pammi & Bryan

Happy Father's Day, Daddy!
They say that the first one without you would be the hardest.....and they were not mistaken! All I want to do is "Dance with my Father" again, the way I did on my wedding day. Daddy, I miss you so, so, so much! Please know that this day will be filled with tears, joy and laughter, as we celebrate the man who is the true definition of the word FATHER - YOU!!! If only the world was filled with more men like you - it would be a much better place. Daddy, I am sure you know that your sons, grandsons, and nephews saw the example of manhood that you set for them and will hold it as THE standard to live up to. I'm on my way to the cemetary now...we'll talk more when I get there! Love you, "Big Poppa"!!! Always, Your Pammi

Happy Birthday, Daddy!!
The boys and I were reminising about all of the laughter and the good times we shared. Lil' Guy was talking about the year we went to the Black Picnic in Salem Willows and you were teasing him about the great catch he made during a baseball game a few days before. Daddy, we miss you so much! Although we may not be able to visit you everyday physically, I know you hear us everyday when we talk to you (I see the blue jays, Daddy! LOL) and I know God hears us when we pray for the strength to make it just one more day! Daddy, I love you, and I miss you so much, but I am "happyglad" to know that one day I will see you again!

Happy Birthday Daddy,
I have thought about how I will honor you on this day. Today will be filled with all of the laughs and wonderful times we have shared. It has been 54 days and I still feel like I was just with you yesterday. I hope you hear my prayers when I visit you and the conversations I have with you.
I love you and miss you so so much.

I'll See You Again
Seems like only yesterday
When your laughter filled the air
And what ever I was going through
You were always there
How you gave of all your love and time
to those who were in need
In my heart you'll always
Be a part of me
Though sometimes it's hard to deal
With you not being here
I rejoice that you have reached
that place of peace where there's no fear
Heaven has become a little sweeter
Just because you're there
And we'll meet again in that place
So bright and fair
I'll see you again, where the sun is always shining
I'll see you again, where sorrows are no more
Where we'll join hands together and we'll sing around the throne
Can't hardly wait till the day I'll see you again.....
Love You and missing you like crazy, Pammi

My Darling Daddy......I was just talking with someone about my graduation from UCONN, and I explained how when the Provost handed me my degree, my eyes automatically looked heavenward and I said with a smile "Thank You, Daddy!" I knew then that the example of utmost grace and dignity that you displayed throughout your illness is the example which I shall follow all the days of my life. Not one day goes by that I'm not thinking of you, and not one minute goes by that I am not missing you like crazy!! Loving you always, Pammi

Everyday that I speak to someone who knows you, they have so many wonderful things to say. They speak of your warmth and humor, the way you treated people with respect and embraced them all. Wow, what a mark you have left on everyone that came in contact with you, from the man at the corner store to your 13 grandchildren. We should all learn from our relationship with you.

If you only knew the things that you have done for me. You always been there for me when I needed someone the most. You were there through the roughest time in my life. I miss you. Why did you have to leave so soon. Now that you are with God, please don't forget our promise. I will keep praying for you and please you do the same. EVERETT I MISS YOU SOOOOOOO MUCH....see you soon...GOD BLESS YOU...

Memories will forever be etched in my mind and my heart. Throughout your illness, I have learned the true meaning of living a life with dignity and respect. I miss rubbing your head before I left you every day and the sneaky smile you gave when you were up to something. You said "There is no one like AnneMarie", well, I say, there is no one like You!!!!! You have left so much for us to live up to.

Well Daddy, I FINALLY did it!! Walking across that stage to accept my degree without seeing your smiling face in the audience was one of the hardest things I ever had to do in life, but knowing that you were there in spirit made it SO MUCH easier! I never would have made it to this day without you! Daddy, I miss you so much, but I know you are always with us and smiling down on us. The phrase "GOODNIGHT Ladies" will always have a special meaning for me!! I love you, Daddy! Pammi

My thoughts and prayers go out to my cousins, who have lost a father, my mother and aunts, who have lost a brother, and all of Uncle Larry's grandchildren. I discovered a couple of things about him, such as his language skills, and wish I knew more about him. We'll all miss you Uncle Larry.

Dearest brother,
"Go home" will be a term I'll remember for a very long time. I now understand it was more for our peace of mind than yours. Although we didn't fully understand at the time it was being said, I realize that in your struggle we were, and always will be on your mind. Rest in peace.
