To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."

It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man.

God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.

When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.

I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.

There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.

If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.

So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.

And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

Uncle Pat, I can't believe it has been a year since you have been gone and I miss you so much, but knowing you are with so many special people makes me happy. We will all be together again in good time, but until then know how much you are loved and missed. Also, please give my dad a big hug and Aunt Eleanor too and tell them I love and miss them tremendously.

It's me again Dad. I think of you every day/night of the week. But now you have Mom with you and you must be delighted.

Unfortunately, I miss the both of you lots and I am very lonely. I miss caring for the two of you. I feel better, however, that you both did not suffer greatly and are continuing your 68 years of marriage in a better place.

Continue to look over us, somehow there is something special about the knowledge that my Mom and Dad are still watching over me. Although I have lost you both, I consider myself very lucky to have had both my parents for so many wonderful years. Not many can say that.

Thanks and I Love You Both,
Patti

Mr. Days,
Sir, I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served in the U.S. Army during WW II and for being a member of the Greatest Generation. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.

Uncle Pat,
Just wanted to let you know that I'm thinking of you today. Since there is no "Uncles Day" I thought it was appropriate to say "Happy Fathers Day" to my favorite uncle. You, aunt Eleanor & Patti have always been good to my family and special in our lives. I will always cherish the memories I have of you. Tell my dad I said "hi" and take care of each other. Love Marie

I miss you Dad, I love you and I am so lonely without you. You are in a better place now, and I'm sure spending lots of time with Uncle Al. You tell him for me that his family have been so wonderful. They helped me in so many ways. Don't know how I would have made it this far without them. They are my "special family".

Love you Dad, will be in touch.

UNCLE PAT, I JUST WANT TO LET YOU KNOW JUST HOW MUCH YOU ARE LOVED AND MISSED BY SO MANY. YOU HAVE TOUCHED MANY LIVES BY JUST BEING THE WONDERFUL MAN AND UNCLE YOU ARE. YOU RAISED A GREAT FAMILY THAT YOU CAN BE VERY PROUD OF. THE CLOSENESS BETWEEN YOUR FAMILY AND MY FAMILY WAS SO SPECIAL TO ME. YOUR CHILDREN DID SUCH A WONDERFUL JOB CARING FOR YOU AND AUNT ELEANOR. I KNOW YOU NEVER COMPLAINED ABOUT ANYTHING AND ALWAYS HAD THE BEST ATTITUDE TOWARDS EVERYTHING. AUNT ELEANOR, PATTI AND JIMMY MISS YOU SO MUCH BUT NOW THEY HAVE THEIR OWN PERSONAL GUARDIAN ANGEL THAT WILL WATCH OVER THEM AND TRY TO BRING THEM COMFORT KNOWING YOU ARE IN A BETTER PLACE AND NO LONGER IN PAIN. MY THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS ARE WITH YOU AND YOUR FAMILY. JUST THINK SOMEDAY WE WILL ALL BE TOGETHER AGAIN AND WHAT A GREAT REUNION THAT WILL BE. YOU HAVE BEEN IN MY LIFE SINCE I WAS SO YOUNG AND I WILL CHERISH EVERY MEMORY. I MISS YOU AND LOVE YOU ALWAYS. JOANI
