Vincent Raso Obituary

78, of Boston, on Sunday, June 1, 2008. Vincent was dedicated to his family and active member of his church and community. Cherished son of the late Salvatore and Annunciata Raso. Beloved husband of 47 years of Theresa Raso (Palizzolo). Loving father of Vincent and his wife Jamie, Richard and his wife Lianne, Stephen, and Michael and his wife Jacqueline. Cherished grandfather of Christina, Ana, Alyssa, Emily, Nina, Maggie, Caroline, and Annie. Loving brother of Angie MacCormack and her late husband Robert, Dominic and his wife Dorothy, Reganaldo and his wife Jeanette, Elena Intravaia and her late husband Sam, Alfred, and the late Frances Musto and her late husband John. The Raso family will be accepting visitors on Tuesday, June 3, 2008 from 4-8PM at the Boston Harborside Home, 580 Commercial Street in BOSTON's North End. Funeral Mass at St. Joseph's Church in the West End on Wednesday, June 4, 2008 at 10AM followed by an entombment at Holy Cross in Malden. In lieu of flowers please make donations in Vincent's name to Neighborhood Action Inc. (Homeless Ministry) 35 Bowdoin St., Boston, MA 02114 Boston Harborside Home J.S. I remember your Dad as such an adoring husband and father, always with a smile and a gentle manner. He really was a lot of fun on those trips to the lake and Whalom Park many summers ago. I was so shocked when I heard about Vinnie's sudden passing. I can't imagine your shock and grief!

I always remember Vinnie as very full of life and one of the gentlest males I've ever known. I am so very sorry that I am unable to attend the services. I will miss saying good-bye to Vinnie.

Theresa-we haven't seen each other recently-but as you know Vin and I were very close for years-Mae and I loved getting together with you both-If anyone ever loved their soulmate, it was Vin-What a couple, what a family-what examples of love- I just found out an hour ago from David Hurwitz-I often think of Mae and our friendship with you-I called David a few minutes ago-you remember Vinny was his Godfather-my children will be very upset-All I can say is love-love from the Vecchi famly
