My memories of Mildred are endless as was her kindness and generosity to those whose lives she touched. She had a knack for making all feel "at home" and cared for; down to the tiniest gestures of thoughtfulness and support. It was her joy to bring hot soup or coffee as a token of her affections. Barely a musician in Boston was not touched by her spirit and enthusiasm, while a lucky few dined at her table. Our heart to heart conversations about everything and everybody were almost always about principles and our shared code of personal ethics . Our musical adventures knew no boundaries and we found ourselves ever immersed in a journey of music, melodies and the personalities of those that made such memorable events in our life. For so many cherished times together I will surely miss her. Goodby my dear friend, Mildred. Always, Kath
