John Serrecchia Obituary

Of Reading, June 4, 2008 at age 84. Beloved husband of Iole (Domenici) Serrecchia. Devoted father of John J. Serrecchia and his wife MaryLou of Pembroke, NH, Marian Muse and her husband Peter of N. Reading, Joseph P. Serrecchia of Revere. Cherished grandfather of Whitney and Erika Serrecchia, Matthew and Ashley Muse. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. US Navy Veteran, W.W. II. A Funeral Mass celebrating John's life will be held on Monday at 10 AM in St. Athanasius Church, 300 Haverhill St., Reading. Interment Charles Lawn Memorial Park, Reading. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in memory of John to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701 or to the American Heart Assoc., 20 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701. Mr. Serrecchia,
Sir, I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served in the USN during WW II and for being a member of the Greatest Generation. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.
