Carol Osborne Seach Donovan

Carol Donovan Obituary

Passed away peacefully on May 27, 2008, at Doolittle Retirement Home in Foxboro; she was 91. A lifelong resident of Weymouth, she was born October 30, 1916, and later married her high school sweetheart, William Anthony Donovan, in April of 1939. She was predeceased by her mother and father William and Caroline Bemis Seach; two siblings William B. Seach and Iona S. Kunz, as well as Bill "Dunnie" Donovan her husband of 65 years. Carol is survived by her three sons, Bill, Steve and Tom Donovan, and her "adopted" daughter Ilaisane Tui Donovan, a Samoan college student sponsored by the Donovans', who later married their son Tom. Carol's grandchildren include William S.K. Donovan, Mark Donovan, Eric Spinney, Jon B. Pease, Katrina D. Fleming, Sarah M. Flynn-Donovan, Joshua Donovan and Matthew I.K. Donovan, as well as five great grandchildren. A memorial and celebration of Carol's life will be held at the Unitarian Universalist Church, Duxbury, MA later in the Summer. Dates will be announced to family and friends.

I met Carol a few times while visiting the Doolitle Home with my Pet Therapy dog "Gracie". Carol always smiled and petted "Gracie" on the head. I loved to see her smile. Carol was a beautiful woman

I only met Carol one time while I was visiting with her Grandson Eric and she was a very nice woman with a kind heart.
