Of Wellesley, June 5. Beloved husband of Helen F. (Zani). Devoted father of Taryn M. Valle and her husband William of Wellesley Hills and the late Thomas F. Merlino. Grandfather of Andrew, Will, and Annie Valle, all of Wellesley. Brother of the late Nancy Demelo. Funeral Mass in St. John the Evangelist Church, Wellesley Hills Tuesday at 11 AM. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Visiting hours omitted. Private interment St. Mary's Cemetery, Needham. Donations may be made in Frank's memory to the Mass General Hospital, Director of Development, Cancer Center, 155 Cambridge St., Suite 600, Boston, MA 02114. W.W. II Veteran, U.S. Air Force. Graduate of Boston University, Class of 1946. CPA and managing partner in the firm of Darmody, Merlino & Company, Certified Public Accountants of Boston. Member of the Algonquin Club, Woodland Golf Club, Auburndale, founder and incorporater of the Daniel Marr Boys & Girls' Club of Dorchester, member of The American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Mass Society of Certified Public Accountants and the Construction Financial Management Association. Member of the Associated General Contractors of Mass, Construction Industries of Mass and the Mass Building Congress, where he served as an Officer, Director or Executive Committee Member. Mr. Merlino,
Sir, I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served in the U.S. Army Air Forces during WW II and for being a member of the Greatest Generation. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.

Dear Mrs. Merlino and Taryn~
I did not hear of Mr. Merlino's passing until yesterday and am so sorry I was not there to express my sympathies in person. I will always remember Mr. Merlino's elegance, joy for life and gentleness.

Curt, Madison, Chase and I will keep you both in our thoughts and prayers.
