I have known Paul McCarthy for more than forty years. Though we only saw each other at Sullivan family functions and the times he would stop by the firehouse on Boylston street for a quick cup of coffe and a "long" story or two, while making sure that all was right on the Mass Pike extension. I so enjoyed talking to him. He knew "everyone" and had a story to go with every name. But most of his stories were about family, his family that he loved so much. Paul McCarthy knew what was important in life, I know he will be missed, but he will never be forgotten.
Florence, Paul, Ellen, Jackie, Stephen and Brian, you are all in our prayers.

Mr. McCarthy,
Sir, I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.
