today i wanted again to call him and catch up…
we became buddies in the late 80's (the smyly days) he was at the hospital when my first son was born and when my sister got married he sent three limos as a gift but most of all we would go to lunch weekly and laugh till our face hurt! the stories, the friendship, stacey and i miss him so, we were best friends! and i know anybody reading this is saying, who is this guy? i was his best friend! but that was his magic, he made everybody feel like they were his best friend!!!
as far as my family goes he can never be forgotten, my oldest is 22 now and he and his buddies love to hear the "tommy stories" and they always say "i wish i knew a guy like him" …… yeah, he is in our hearts forever! rest good my bro, then we will catch up…

Marybeth, I am so sorry for your loss.
I know how close you and Tom were.
I just found out, and cannot believe it.
I have so many things from, and because of him... pictures, videos, and most importantly, some of the best memories I've ever had in my life. Whenever I was feeling blue, and wanted to cheer up,
I knew I could call him, and he was always ready with a joke to tell. Some of the stories he told me, I enjoyed so much, I would ask him to tell over and over again. He was truly a character. There is not one room in my house that doesn't have something to do with him in it. I was Diagnosed with Stage 3 Cancer (Melanoma aka the "Beast,") on May 26, last year (09), and I'm still fighting.
I cannot believe that he is no longer, just a phone call away. I am sending you,(and your family), all my love, thoughts, prayers, and my very deepest condolences.
Rest in Peace, my friend. Rest in peace.
Thank you for your generosity... Thank you for Disney... Thank you for being you! We will miss you deeply.

I had lost touch with Tommy few years ago after moving away from Boston. I am shocked and saddened to find he is gone. Tommy had a kind heart and could always make me laugh. I also remember how much he loved and adored his family.

I thought of Tom yesterday. I met him in 2002 and he asked me to go out to eat in the North End for his birthday...I remembered how much he cared deeply for me as a true friend. . We just learned of Tommys passing yesterday Thanksgiving day. How approriate .We feel very thankfull to have know him.Perhaps only a phone call or a quick meeting with him however always a great guy who would help in any way he could.Our sincere thoughts and prayers go out to the family and remember god only takes the best and Tommy certanly fell into that category.

I met Tom at Sentry Lincoln-Mercury about 12 years ago, We were friends for a while but lost touch in the last couple of years. I found out today that he passed away. I usually wish him a Happy Birthday and sent him a text to his phone. I received a response that he passed away. He will always be in my heart. Love you Tom. Rest in peace, may god be with you.
