Ida King Obituary

Age 105 years, of Newton, formerly of Roxbury and Brookline passed away on Tuesday, June 10, 2008. Beloved wife of the late Edwin H. King. Daughter of the late Harry and Rose Edelstein. Devoted mother of Dr. Howard King & his wife Phyllis of Newton and the late Muriel K. Wilker & her husband Dr. Sidney R. Wilker. Loving grandmother of James Wilker & Vicki Rosen, Richard & Amanda King, Laura Wilker & Andrew Jeske, Joshua King & Amy Theobald. Great-grandmother of Penny, William, Sophie and Fred King, Sarah Wilker, Sam, Ben and Naomi Jeske, Toby and Annabelle King. Dear sister of Esther Edelstein and the late Sadye and Ben Edelstein. Services at Congregation Mishkan Tefila, 300 Hammond Pond Parkway, Chestnut Hill, on Monday, June 16 at 2:00pm. Interment at the Mishkan Tefila Memorial Park, Centre Street, West Roxbury. Memorial observance at the home of Dr. Howard and Phyllis King following the burial and continuing Tuesday 2-4pm & 7-9pm. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to National Multiple Sclerosis Society, 101A First Ave., Suite 6, Waltham, MA 02451 or Jewish Community Housing for the Elderly, 30 Wallingford Road, Brighton, 02135. Levine Chapels, Brookline (617) 277-8300
