Dear Jack, Jimmy, Carol, Rachel, Nancy, Anne Marie and Michael,
I was so saddened and shocked to hear about Cousin Jerry. I remember him so well at Carew family get-togethers when we were both kids - i.e. Christmas parties at Uncle John's house on George St., Carew weddings at the Armory, 4th of July picnics where Jerry would sing barber shop with Uncle Walter, Cousin Eddy, and other cousins and uncles.
I know Jerry will be dearly missed by all of you - and by me too!
Love, Cousin Joanie

To the DeFina Family. I was saddened when I read online of the passing of Jerry. We grew up and attended St. Joseph School together. Jerry was a great kid back then and we shared in many good times. His mother and father were always good to us kids. I've been out of Medford for 53 years, but would often think of him and other friends from that era. My thoughts and prayers are with your family. A candle will be lit and special prayers offered in his honor and memory at St. Stanislaus Basilica. May God bless you all and grant you His peace, love, good health, happiness and the strength to endure. Godspeed!
