I would like to extend my warmest condolences to the Howard family. Susie has shared so many wonderful stories about her Dad; lessons in living demonstrated in how he lived his life, his joy and love of family and community and his easy means of making others feel at ease with all situations. I'm sure his legacy of a genuine caring approach to better the world will continue with his family.

Although I did not have the honor of meeting Leonard Howard, I do know his daughter, Susie, and did learn what a wonderful father and man he was. I do feel sympathy for Susie and the rest of his family. They now have a big gap in their life, but are blessed in having had him as a father, husband, grandfather, friend, etc.

The best, always. You made me the luckiest daughter in the world, and the children, the luckiest grands as well. It' been a pleasure.
