Freshman year in college, June used to pick me up. Some days I'd have to skip because I was facing what June's children have been dealing with. By all reports from Cookie and Betty her family have been incredible. I was so fortunate to have visited with her last September when I was there. We had breakfast with Betty and laughed about grandchildren. How she loved them! She was such a sweet sweet person. My condolences to you all.

My condolence to June's dear family and friends. I only met June once, through our mutual friend, Michele, and I know how long a struggle these last years have been for all of you. Having spent my own Mother's final year of life with her, I also know what an incredible blessing you have been given to spend those many precious lasting moments, even those with pain. Dear friends and family of June. Although I have not seen her since high school graduation, I shall always carry her memory as that of a happy, wholesome young woman. June loved sports. I am told that she was courageous during her battle with cancer. May our memories of her good years give us some comfort.
