Dear Lee and family,
I was so sorry to hear of Tom's death. I had always hoped you and Tom would make it to Kansas City. I had promised him the best Chinese and barbeque he had ever had. Glad we had 1993, my trip to the East. I can still hear Tom's laughter. Miss you and love you, Sherry Anspach

As I sat here witnessing the process of your passing
Memories of a loving friendship rushed throughout
My soul
As I sat here helpless
Echoes of your laughter
Throughout my mind
As I sat here helpless
I prayed
Lit a candle
And
Prayed even harder
You my friend brought
Laughter
Fun
And happiness to all of us who were
Blessed by your presence in our lives
My favorite memories are of those
Road trips
Boat trips
And Lela ducking for safety from the whale
Music
Laughter
Shared timeless memories
You my Friend I have loved like a brother
And heard the silent good bye
The last time we met
My brother Tom, I shall miss you
For now you are playing your guitar amongst the angels
Fishing in the greatest oceans
Laughing amongst friends and family
Until we meet again…
Always yours in friendship,

Donna

Lela: Another great guy filling up the foursome on the greatest golf course up above. Between the fishing and the golf our men will be very busy. You know, whatever you need I'll be there.

Lela and family - We were very saddened to hear of Tom's passing. I have many fond memories of him dating back more than 50 years. In my mind Tom will always be the original 'Fonzie'. He was a free spirit in the 50' and 60's when it was not in style. He was gentleman who was always available to lend a hand to those in need. He will rest in peace as do all good christians.

Dear Lela, Kim and I greatly admire the courage and strength you have shown during this ordeal, and know that with the support of your many close friends and family you will recover from this incalculable loss. Tom and I harmonized for 40 years, both musically and as friends, and I cannot express how much I will miss him. I am grateful for every precious moment we spent together.

Dearest Lela and Aunt Bessie,
Tom will be missed each and everyday of our lives. We loved him so much and although he was a Christopher, he was also viewed as a Chiavaras family member. We will always recall his warm smile, welcoming nature, as well as his contagious laugh. As we all can attest, he could brighten up a room instantaneously. We love you both and he will be with all of us in thought and prayer. Lela, his memory will be eternal. We love you so and we will be by your side now, forever, and always. Love your Cousins Connie, Jim, and niece Marykate

Allen will miss golfing with Tom and we'll all miss the jokes, guitar playing, and happy times. Tom will never be forgotten.

Dear Tom, We were so sad to hear of your passing. Mom had told us you weren't doing well and we were planning to come and see you this weekend coming. We are so sorry we waited too long. You and Lela were like second parents to us growing up. It was an honor to be your neighbor since we were kids. Thanks for all of the fun memories of holidays, boat rides and laughs. You will forever be in our hearts, we will never forget you. From now on when we hear thunder we will know it is you playing pool in heaven. We love you! Maria & Sara

You fought a good fight but God had other plans for you. Your pain and suffering are over and you have left us with an empty place in our hearts. I will think kindly of you on our shared birthday. Til we meet again.
