Mary McKenzie Obituary

Age 90, of Palm City, Florida, died on Friday, June 20, 2008 at her residence. Mrs. McKenzie was born on September 21, 1917 in Chelsea, MA to William and Mary (Flagherty) Nolan. Mrs. McKenzie lived for most of her life in Needham, MA and retired to Cape Cod. She came to Palm City to be close to family in 2000. She was of catholic faith and was a parishioner of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Palm City, FL. Mrs. McKenzie was predeceased by her husband of 59 years, George F. McKenzie in 2001. Survivors include two daughters, Linda (Tim) Carroll of Palm City, FL and Virginia (Joel) Levine of Walpole, MA. Also surviving is one grandson Christopher Carroll of Palm City, FL, two sisters, Margaret Dimes of Winthrop, MA, Alice Lake of Saugus, MA and one brother, Lawrence Nolan of CA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Monday, June 23, 2008 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, 14545W Mapp Road, Palm City, FL. Interment to follow at Forest Hills Memorial Park, 2001 SW Murphy Road, Palm City, FL. The family requests that in lieu of flowers memorials be made to Treasure Coast Hospice, 1201 SE Indian Street, Stuart, FL 34997. A guest registry may be signed at www.foresthillsfunerals.com
