Robert McAuliffe Obituary

88 years old, died Saturday evening at his home surrounded by his children. He was the beloved husband of the late Arlene M. (Corrigan) McAuliffe. Father of: Arlene McDermott and Jack Lightfoot, of Lowell; Thomas and Diane McAuliffe, of Dunstable; Carol McAuliffe; Joan McAuliffe; Phyllis McAuliffe; Leo McAuliffe; Paul McAuliffe; and Nancy McAuliffe, all of Lowell; also ten grandchildren and two great grandchild; brother-in-law of: Monica Corrigan, of Winchester; also many nieces and nephews. He was the father of the late Robert W. McAuliffe, and brother of the late Dan, Jack, Ned, and Joe McAuliffe, Molly Dignan and Helen Harney. Former Branch Chief of Audit at the IRS, Boston. Friends may call from 4 to 8 PM on Tuesday, June 24th at the MAHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 187 Nesmith Street, (Rte. 38). His Funeral Mass to be offered on Wednesday at 12 PM at the IMMACULATE CONCEPTION CHURCH. Burial in St. Mary Cemetery, Tewksbury. I used to work for ACS out of the Wilmington office and was proud to have known Bob for all of his kindness. He would not hesitate when asked to drive a patient to his or her treatment. He will be well taken care of since he took care of others in need. God bless Bob and his whole family.
