Thomas Martell Obituary

On June 22, 2008, of Cherry Hill, NJ. Age 83. Beloved husband for 58 years to Josephine M. (nee Aliprandi). Loving father of Robert Martell of Haverhill, MA; Dennis Martell of Blackwood, NJ and Christine McClay of Westchester, PA. Devoted grandfather of Jacqueline, Alexander, Stephanie, Aidan, Erin, Keely, and Jenna. Dear brother of Marie Colosimo, Theresa Fitzgerald, Virginia O'Donnell, John Martell, George Martell and the late Joseph Martell, Catherine Cooney, Ann Martell and many nieces and nephews. Mr. Martell was a disabled Army veteran of WWII where he was awarded the Purple Heart while serving in the European Theater. He worked as a sales engineer for W. R. Grace in Woodbury, NJ and was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 3784 in Haddonfield, NJ. Viewing Wednesday morning 10:30 to 11:15am in St. Pius X RC Church, 344 Kresson Road, Cherry Hill, NJ. Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday 11:30am. Interment New St. Mary's Cemetery Bellmawr, NJ. In lieu of flowers contributions in his memory may be made to your favorite charity. Arrangements by the Schetter Funeral Home of Cherry Hill, NJ.
