I'm lighting a candle for Jack today.
Tonight marks one year since Jack died.

Please keep Jack's memory alive in your hearts. He was such a great guy - my parents' only son, a wonderful dad and husband, loyal and loving brother, a true friend. He was also a proud and loving uncle and cousin and a trusted coworker.

Jack was a kind, funny, smart, dependable, trustworthy guy. He knew how to enjoy the moment and found pleasure in the simple things in life.

Such a gift to all of us.

I will never be able to replace the special love I shared with my brother. I will treasure it always.

I'll be thinking of Jack on Saint Patrick's Day, as I do every day.

This was one of Jack's favorite holidays. When you celebrate Saint Pat's Day with family and friends, please raise your glass and make a toast in honor of Jack Sweeney.

Many great memories of sharing St. Patrick's Day with my brother, Jack.
Slainte!

Thank you to everyone who has contacted us about our brother, Jack, this past month.

Reading a nice story or memory about Jack really helps ease the incredible emptiness and pain we continue to feel.

Jack was one in a million and we were blessed to share great times with a guy who was a great friend, wonderful dad to Pat and husband to Barbara, loving brother and son and regular guy to so many people.

Jack loved a person for what was inside them - not their status, power, social circle or connections.

To everyone we loved Jack - I wish you Peace.

Jack, you are in my thoughts and prayers every moment of every day.

Loved Ones,

The challenge now is to have faith that Jack can never be lost to you when your eyes long to see him, you ears long to hear his laugh, your hand longs to touch his hand, and your heart is heavy with grief and unanswered questions. One thing is certain, peace has come to Jack and rest assured that in time peace will return to you if you simply allow it. Live these next days, weeks, and months... live your entire life... one minute at a time, one breath at a time and know that you are embraced by the love of friends and family.

Love, Angi,Dan & Leigh-Anne

Pat,
My heart is truly broken for you and your mom. I cannot begin to imagine the pain you have right now, but I want you to know that if you need me I'll be there or here or wherever you need me to be. Your dad was always so kind to me, and I still have the Boston magnet he gave me on my fridge. It was always clear to me how proud he was of you and how much he loved his family. Give your mom, aunts, uncles, and cousins big hugs for me.
Much love, Erin

We are tremendously saddened to hear about Jack. Pat and Barbara our hearts and prayers are with you.

We always loved seeing the IRISH "twinkle" in jack's eyes, his big bright smile and his contagious laughter. It was always a FUN time, for us, when we would be with Jack and Barbara, Deb and Steve. We will always have those good memories.

"May the road rise to meet him".

We will truly miss him.
