Of Lynnfield June 21. Husband of Suzanne M. (Sullivan) DeLuca. Father of Julianne, Ann-Marie and Christine D. all of Lynnfield. Son of John D. DeLuca of Lynnfield and the late Carmella (Caprio) DeLuca. Brother of Steven of Lynnfield, Janice of Revere, Sandra Austin of CA, June Pierce of Peabody and Louise Carter of Weston. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Funeral from the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., WAKEFIELD, Friday at 9 AM followed by a Funeral Mass in Our Lady of the Assumption Church, Grove and Salem Sts., Lynnfield at 10 o'clock. Relatives and friends may call at the Funeral Home on Thursday 3-8 PM. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Leukemia Research, care of Dr. Kenneth Miller, 800 Washington St., Boston, MA 02111. For obit/directions/guestbook,www.mcdonaldfs.com

I remember the first time John came to the house to take Sue on their first date to McDonald's. 8-) I love and miss John so so much. He was more than my brother-in-law. He was my good friend.
