Of West Roxbury, June 24, 2008. Beloved husband of the late Beatrice F. (Doherty) Amrhein. Loving father of Mary Lou of West Roxbury, Robert L., MD of Brookline, George F. Jr of CT, Joseph F. of West Roxbury, Jeanne E. of Boston's North End, Gerard M. of Natick, Donna M. of West Roxbury. Father-in-law of Gerard Greene, Yvona Trnka, MD, Nancy, Evelyn and Kelly Amrhein and Raimund Wasner. Loving grandfather of 13 grandchildren. Devoted brother of Paul of Medford, Madeline of Ireland, Robert of Canton and the late Walter and Joseph Amrhein. Loving brother-in-law of Theresa Mason, Rose, Eileen, and Rosemarie Doherty and the late John and Patrick Doherty & Mary O'Brien. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Robert J. Lawler and Crosby Funeral Home, 1803 Centre St., WEST ROXBURY, on Saturday, June 28th at 9:00am. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in the Holy Name Church at 10:00am. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting hours Friday from 4:00 - 8:00pm. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery. Navy Veteran WWII. To the Amrhein Family....so sorry to hear about your Dad. He was a really nice man. He is now at home in Heaven with you mom...forever a faithful man...to his faith and his family.He had a great smile and an easy attitude..As we grew older he could still identify each of us individually .He was always genuinely interested in us and our lives.When I think of your parents I am flooded with a million childhood memories on Halford Road.I will remember him always as well as your mother...and will keep all of you in my prayers...Fondly..your neighbor..Deborah Kelley-Sweet
