Of Peabody, June 23rd. Devoted husband of Denise (Whitehead). Beloved brother of Sylvia Evans of Malden and Stephen Oscar of Tulsa, OK. Also lovingly survived by his mother-in-law Alice Whitehead of Malden as well as many nieces and nephews. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend a Funeral from the Carroll Funeral Home, 721 Salem Street (Maplewood Square) MALDEN on Friday, June 27th at 10:30 AM followed by a Funeral Mass celebrated in St. Joseph's Church, 770 Salem Street, MALDEN at 11:30 AM. Visiting Hours in the Carroll Funeral Home on Thursday from 4-8PM. Services will conclude with interment at Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody. Court Officer for the Middlesex Superior Court for 27 years, United States Marine Corp. Veteran of the Vietnam War and member of the Malden VFW and Revere ITAM Club. Mr. Oscar,
Sir, as a fellow Marine I would just like to say thank you for your years of dedicated service and sacrifice-first for our Country when you served in the USMC during the Vietnam War and secondly for the citizens of Middlesex County when you served as a Court Officer. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.
