Marjorie Anderson Obituary

Age 58, of Englewood, NJ (formerly of Watertown, MA) on June 18, 2008. Beloved wife of Richard Bennett. Devoted mother of Margot. Dear sister of Douglas Anderson. Dearest daughter of Doris Anderson and the late Gordon. Marjorie was an Art Director at the Wall Street Journal/Dow Jones and former art director at Random House and Little, Brown. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Englewood, NJ and its Choir. Memorial Service Saturday 11 AM at The Bigelow Chapel Mount Auburn Cemetery, Cambridge, MA. Interment of ashes following the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your local chapter of The American Red Cross. Arrangements by Barrett Funeral Home, TENAFLY, NJ.

It was so sad to hear of Marjorie's passing. A kind, smart, and beautiful soul. I worked with her and miss her guidance and thoughtfulness. I remember her speaking of Robert and Margot fondly. So sorry for her loss. My condolences to her family.

To Richard Bennett and daughter, I am sorry for your loss of Marjorie. I only recently heard she was in the area and I was a RISD friend of hers. I was in photo and she in design. And so I have a memory of a young and hopeful "art" friend working at Little Brown.
