I was sadden to hear of Dick's passing. I worked with Dick at Shaw's supermarket. I was lucky enough to work with Dick setting up many store openings. We had some really great laughs! One memory of Dick that comes to mind is when he visited my store he would always ask to sample the p&p loaf or one of his other favorites for quality control of course! I suspect he may have been a little hungry from his travels...I always complied after all... he was going to walk my department! My deepest sympathy for the family at this difficult time.

To the entire Davis Family: I knew Dick to be a man with a huge heart and an even bigger sense of humor. I haven't seen him in years but my memories of working with him are as fresh as ever. I was deeply saddened by his loss, but his memory will remain with me always. Sleep well, Duke.
