Abner Darby

Of Lynn, June 26, age 75, former 25 year Executive Director CMCC, Lynn and a leader in the fight against discrimination and racial justice throughout his whole life. He was the former husband of Mary Patricia Gaines Darby, the father of Cathy, of Lynn, Rebecca, of Beverly, and Steven, of Orlando, Fla., and the brother of Paul, of Austin, TX, and the late Adolphus, also survived by many loving nieces and nephews, a large extended family, and a host of friends. Funeral on Monday at 10am in Zion Baptist Church, 4 Adams St. Ext., Lynn. Burial in Pine Grove Cemetery. Relatives & friends are respectfully invited.
