Late of Winchester, formerly of Brookline. Entered into rest June 25, 2008. Beloved wife of the late Leon Leventhal & Louis Gilman. Devoted mother of Fred Gilman & his wife Judy of Marietta, GA, Peter Gilman & his wife Maytal of Brookline & the late Charles "Chick" Gilman. Mother-in-law of Betty Gilman of Burlington. Loving sister of the late George Spitz. Cherished grandmother of sixteen & great grandmother of fifteen. Graveside services will be at Mishkan Tefila Memorial Park, Centre St., West Roxbury on Sunday, June 29, 2008 at 11 AM. Memorial observance will be held at the home of Peter J. Gilman following the interment Sunday, Monday & Tuesday beginning at 7 PM. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in her memory may be donated to The Lighthouse Hospice Foundation, c/o Beacon Hospice, 529 Main St., Suite 123, Charlestown, MA 02129.
