Maj. Landers,
Sir, I would just like to say thank you for your years of dedicated service and sacrifice for our Country when you served in the U.S. Army-especially during Desert Storm. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.

I have known Michael for the passed 14 years from when he first came to work for me at GNC.
Over the years Michael & I spent a lot of time together working and solving many business problems at GNC and at DSW. So over this time I had the opportunity to get to know Michael and the quality that I enjoyed most was his sense of humor. While there were times that we worked very hard we also enjoyed many laughs - those are the times I will always remember.
I will also remember how much he loved and cared for his wife Anneliese and his family - to Mike they were always his very first priority!

Michael was an extremely influential individual in my life. He pushed me to reach for the impossible and to never admit defeat. He witnessed my swearing into the Ohio Army National Guard, with hopes to see me graduate. It saddens me that he will not be present to witness this. He will be greatly missed as a boss, a friend, and a fellow military confidant.

I had the distinct pleasure of working with Michael Landers for two years. Though i didn't work directly on the DSW account, he always had a laugh waiting for me on the other end of the phone line when i answered a call from him. I think i speak for the entire team at Gumro when i say we will miss Michael dearly. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family during this very difficult time.

My wife, Jeanie, and I met Anneliese Landers at the Westerville Community Center. We did not meet Michael although we were going to among the busy things in all of our lives.
I interviewed Anneliese for my book: I, God, & Country. She had a lot of sadness in her life; but claimed that "I met Michael, my second husband, and we have had a wonderful life. He has been a mentor to my boys and is the best thing in my life."
We are so saddened by you and your family's loss, Anneliese. We are praying for your condolences and for Michael's soul. He must have been a great man and he will surely have the advocacy of Jesus Christ on his behalf before our Father in Heaven.
