Anne Gordon Obituary

Of Chelsea, MA, Newton, MA and West Palm Beach, Fl. entered into rest on Friday, June 27, 2008. To know her was to love her. She was the beloved wife of Melvin Gordon. They celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary on May 2nd, 2008 the day before her 87th birthday on May 3rd, 2008. Along with her husband, Anne leaves behind her two most devoted sons, Barry and Steven Gordon, daughter-in-law Leslie Gordon and fiance Sam Montross, Grandchildren Faye and Dan Whipkey and Pamela & Gary Gagnon of Charlotte NC & Ashley & Sarah Gordon of Danvers, MA, Great-grandchildren Brooke and Ross Whipkey-Harris and Leo Gagnon. Nannie Annie, as she was so lovingly called by her grandchildren will be sorely missed. A Memorial service was held at the Palm Room at the President Country Club on Sunday, June 29, 2008. A private interment took place at the Star of David Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Anne Gordon to: Dana Farber Cancer Institute, 10 Brookline Place West, Floor 6, Brookline, MA 02445

Melvin, I met you in the hallway at Good Sam the night before Anne passed away. You showed me a picture of her and we talked about your family.
