Hi Lonnie,
I went to visit you today. I had a hard time figuring out where you were----then I saw about 5 big religious candles that were lit. It had to be yours!! Anyway, I want you to know how much I miss you. I guess I'll just have to wait until it's my time to go. Until then, watch over us my buddy. Love you,

You were so special and that is no lie
You brightened up the darkest day and the cloudiest sky

Many tears I have seen and even more I have cried. They have poured out like rain and have yet to subside. Since July 2nd came when "our Larry" died

Disbelief all around and my eyes start to fill, Silence, despair, empty looks, then a cry, Knew he was ill, can’t believe he would die.

A life helping others, answering the call, And disease in the gut puts an end to it all.

A man you could count on day or night

Your presence alone warmed hearts
Your reassuring voice a pleasure to hear, I would give absolutely anything to have you well and standing near

Stern but gentle, sometimes strict, always kind, If I follow the example, I know he won’t mind, for he was a good man, with a heart of gold, not fair that he died and will never grow old.

It broke our hearts to lose you and never see you again but your happy now free of all pain.

Although he is gone, he will always be near,Feel his presence in those he held dear, Royalston too in the clean cool crisp air, enjoying himself looking for deer.

I'm proud to have known you and call you my friend, your spirit lives on without any end especially in your sons Michael and Morgan.

He told my future husband I had invented a cure for birth control .(my personality!)....He messed up my hair after spending hours primping...(laughing at my vanity!) He told me my "rear end was the size of Chelsea" ...This was vintage Lonnie... my brother. He teased, made me laugh, and tried to encourage me to not take things too seriously...Deep down he made me feel so very loved. I love him forever.. I pray for him now and ask you all to do the same. I thank God for such a gift and such a wonderful family. He was a Catholic who preached with his actions...not his words. He fought the fight, finished the race.. and now, I beg God he rest finally in peace.

I am in total shock, that Larry is no longer with us.

I spoke with him as soon as I heard he was running for Attorney General, (his bumper sticker is still on my car--I didn't have the heart to remove it.), and was thrilled to see an old friend.
To the brothers and sisters, and to all of the Frisoli and Deguglielmo families, I would like to express my sincere and deepest sympathy.

MARY JO MORGAN AND MICHAEL,
When I heard of Loni's passing, i was in a state of shock. I had spoken with him days earlier and he sounded in good spirits we were talking of taking his God Son Anthony out for his Birthday and getting some better pictures of them together. He did not want me to come to Salem to visit because he didn't want to inconvience me or make me travel. Even at he end of his life he was still putting others ahead of himself. I owe Larry so much, and love him so deeply. Larry was more of an older Brother than a cousin to me. Whenerver I needed him, he was always there for me, he never asked for anything in return and never judged anything I did. Larry was always excepting of me as I was. He was my confidant, my advisor, my best friend, and my closest relitive. everyone I ever introduced him to loved him immeadiatly. He had a great way of making you comfortable in your own skin. No one ever felt like they needed to be phony with Loni. he just took you the way you were. My Mother and Father also a Lawrence adored and loved larry so much. When I saw my Father look at Loni, I always new that that was the example that he set for me. I wish we had more time together, but thank God for the time we did have. When I had to name a Godfather for my kids Larry was the only name that came to mind, Larry and for Godmother Mary Jo. I know that he is now in Heaven, and looking at all of us. I hope I can live up to the example he set for me as a man. I love you Larry and will miss you until we meet again. Any thing you ever need Morgan or Michael I am only a call away. We will all miss Loni and always keep him in our prayers.

To the Frisoli family,
Mary Jo, Morgan, Michael, Frank, and cousin Michael, my deepest sympathy for your loss. I knew Larry a short time through the campaigne with his cousin Mike, he was a funny, from the hip straight shooter, who loved his soccer and hunting in Royalston. I know that the world will be a little colder without his generosity, compassion, and wisdom. God Bless you all.

Larry was the first person I met at Frisoli & Frisoli 14 years ago on my first day of work there. Over these past 14 years I have seen how much he did for others, professionally and personally. He personally helped me and friends and family of mine over the years and that will never be forgotten. Larry loved his family and friends so much. He was a real standup guy and will be missed so much by everyone.

I met Larry at the AGM in Los Angeles a few years ago. I was traveling alone and hadn't had a chance to meet very many people yet. He and a few others went out of their way to welcome me and make sure I was included and had a place to sit at dinner. He was generous in spirit and I will miss him.

Maryjo, Michael and Morgan:
What can I say. I am in total shock and sadness. I will always treasure the great memories of years past. Lonny was one of the most generous people I have ever come to know. I can't believe we met over 25 years ago when I was a struggling single mom driving around with 4 bald tires. And guess who purchased new tires for my car? Yes, Lonny. Concerned for the safety of myself and my children. That's the kind of person he was. You will be sadly missed my friend. My thoughts and prayers are with you, as you enter into your resting place in that big soccer field and hunting grounds up in Heaven. My deepest sympathy to you Maryjo, Michael and Morgan. Peace be with you. Love, Norma

Sandi Martinez

July 6, 2008

To all of Larry's family and friends:

Words cannot express my profound grief at his leaving. I came to love and respect him for so many of his passions. As an activist for the family, he sought justice for the parents of Jeffery Curley: as a candidate for Attorney General, he sought to make our state a safer place to raise our children. He was quoted during his campaign as follows : “As attorney general, my first priority would be doing whatever I can do to protect children of the commonwealth,” Frisoli told The Patriot Ledger editorial board yesterday. “Whatever we can do to make sure parents can raise their children and get them through school without experimenting with drugs is worth the cost.” And his love of soccer is well documented in many of the other memories already expressed by so many others.

I had the privilege of interviewing Larry during his campaign, and will always remember him as a man who loved his family, his friends, his state, and his country. I share the only pictures I have of him, and will pray that he has found rest in a better place.

God Bless you Larry. You will be greatly missed.
