Of East Bridgewater, formerly of Hull, July 1, 2008. Wife of the late Alexander Vafides. Loving mother of Judith Sproule of East Bridgewater, James Vafides of Abington, John Vafides of Berkley, and the late Jay Vafides. Loving grandmother of George Sproule, Jr. of Las Vegas, NV, Sally Brooks of Beverly and Jessica Sproule of the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, MD. Sister of the late Margaret Haggerty, Dorothy Fitzpatrick, James, Walter, Mary and Barbara Hickey. Also survived by many nieces & nephews.
