Angelo Cuocolo Obituary

87, formerly of Franklin, Brockton, and Revere, died Sunday July 6th at the Merrimack Valley Hospital after a brief illness. Born in Franklin, he was the son of the late Carmine and Camille (Lenzi) Cuocolo. He attended Franklin Public Schools and Franklin High School. A World War II Army Veteran, Mr. Cuocolo served as a Sergeant in the 201st Coast Artillery. Mr. Cuocolo and his wife of 60 years, Josephine, were married April 25, 1948, and raised their family in Revere. A meat-cutter, tradesman, an entrepreneur, he was known as the "Egg-man." He owned and operated a Delivery Business called Ralph's Egg Service and delivered door to door, retiring twenty five years ago. He relocated to Groveland in 1991, and attended St. Patrick's Church. He leaves his beloved wife Josephine (Palermo) Cuocolo, three daughters, Marie A. and her husband Lendell A. Hurd, all of Groveland; Kathleen C. Cuocolo, and her partner Gary L. Smith of Concord, MA, and Angela C. Dushane of Georgetown; 6 cherished grandchildren, Craig Hurd, Colby Hurd, and Dallis Hurd; Sean Butze; Alysia Dushane, and Julia Dushane; 1 great-grandchild, Sophia Hurd, and nieces, and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother Anthony H. Cuocolo, and a sister Carolyn Maloney. Friends and family are respectfully invited to call on Tuesday, July 8th at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main St. (Rte 125), HAVERHILL, MA from 4-8 PM. Funeral Services will be held on Wed. at 9:30 AM from the Funeral Home with a Mass of Christian burial to be celebrated at 10:30 AM in St. Patrick's Church, 114 Center St., Groveland.
