Strange seeing a new post on Jayne's guest book; I was just thinking of her the other day...she must be around visiting. :-)
The help she offered others, is still being passed on through them; it's a gift that keeps on giving. A Day At A Time...and keep it simple! Jean

Jayne, this morning I found your old Holliston address in my address book and it got me thinking of you. I remember you back in the 90s at the Sat. morning Fatima shrine meeting. Then we hung out at the Milf. Eye Opener meeting. I remember when you lived in Milford for a time and I borrowed your Deepak Chopra cassettes on The Higher Self. I still have them and now they are more special. Thank you for being you....a tough cookie with a long history. You were so easy to talk to and this world is not the same without you. Give God a big hug for me. Love ya.....the forever secretary of the MEO meeting....John M.

When I think of Jayne, a smile immediately comes to my face. When I met her in 1982, despite my objections, she immediately appointed herself as my sponsor. We soon became fast friends and I have to say, as many others may too, that I wouldn't have made it through that first year without her guidance and love. For those of us who remember the morning cups of coffee at the Apollo or when the Mug-n-Muffin was opened after 11pm. It was the meeting after the meeting. The endless conversations about EVERYTHING and the fact that she was a closet match maker. Always trying to set so and so up with so and so! :)
Jayne was the tie that binded may of us together in the beginning and I will never forget her selflessness, gentle humor and generous heart. Although I haven't seen her in several years, I will keep fond memories of the good ole' days forever in my heart.
God Bless You Jayne.

Jayne and I met in second grade and have been friends ever since...54 years! She was a great person and friend, always willing to help out or just lend an ear when necessary. She will be sorely missed.
Rest in heaven, Jayne. You've more than earned it.
In loving memory,
Ruth

Jayne, At my wedding when the priest came to you presenting the host you said " What do I do now?" I said "swallow it" it's your Higher Power coming down to see you. Now it's your turn to go to see Him. May you be with Him always.

I WOULD LIKE TO SHARE A NOTE THAT JAYNE WROTE TO ME ON A BOOK THAT SHE GAVE ME BACK IN 1993 (Slow-down Therapy)...
"This is a wonderful little book-a little tattered and worn-I used it first for many years-It's taken me so long to slow down-
My slowing down was different than yours. This book was a great helper-
For you I hope it will give you pause to reflect-Sometimes I worry that you will spread yourself too thin one of these days (my Jewish Mother complex). I give that to God and give this to you to do with as you will."
HOW MUCH THAT 'LITTLE BOOK' HELPED ME THEN AND STILL HELPS ME TODAY!
THANK YOU FOR GIVING SO MUCH OF YOURSELF TO OTHERS.
REST IN PEACE.

Jayne (with a "y", like the movie star)
May the peace of G-d that passes all understanding be with those you loved at this time.
Know that in the eternal slumber, which now is your resting place, you are held in his shining light for exactly who you are. Rest easy dear Jayne.
Blessings,
Lynn Colvin

I just want to say thank you to Jayne for the many times she helped me. 9 years ago I was going through a major breakup of a relationship and she sat with me at a meeting and hugged me and told me everything was going to be okay. she brought me back on retreat. Jayne was not only a mentor for many in AA but she was also a Matt Talbot W-20 Retreat Sister. She will always be missed and may she rest in peace with all of the other AA's that have passed on.
Love your sister in AA/Retreat
