His family, many dear friends and colleagues will miss his humor, selfless spirit, intellect, work ethic, kindness and warmth. Brett, you truly were a wonderful person. It was a pleasure working for you and with you. I will miss your big smile everytime you came to my desk to ask me to assist with something. Just like a big brother, you were always there when I needed a word of advise. I will never forget you, and you will always hold a special place in my heart. You will be missed, rest in perfect peace.

My deepest sympathies to Mark, and to Brett's family. We made many memories - so many years ago - and Brett, you were a big part of my life. I've never forgotten our friendship and how much it meant to me. Your sharp wit and sense of humor, unquenchable ambition, dedication, and honesty will be missed by all the lives you've touched. I hold a place for you in my heart.

You are not alone...you are in the company of many caring hearts.

There will come a day when your tears of sorrow will softly flow into tears of remembrance... and your heart will begin to heal itself... and grieving will be interrupted by episodes of joy...and you will hear the whisper of hope. Go on believing in Brett...and treasure the tears of remembering his life.

Brett,
We had so many great times together growing up, from elementary school through highschool and college. You and Mark used to feed my dog caramels as little kids, and we all got into trouble with Louis when we played the organ at the Baptist Church. What great times the four of us, you, Lisi, Mark and I, had in junior high. Partying together in highschool. Ashley's wedding during our college years. I will miss you always.

Brett was a mentor and a friend. It is so sad to lose such a promising and intelligent person at such an early age. The world will be a little less brighter without him. Brett, you will be missed, but we know you are in a better place now. God bless.
