I'm happy that my family and I had the opportunity to meet Arline and visit with her on special occasions or on just an ordinary day, at home or at Ellis! She would often call me to come get my mail that was delivered to her instead!
We’ll miss you Arline.

I would like to share a story with you about Aunt Arline. One day Bill & I were over the house visiting & we're talking & she said, "I had the most wonderful dream last night!" I said, "Oh yeah, what was it about?" She said, "Charlie." "It was so beautiful. It was so real, I just couldn't believe it." " She said I didn't want to wake up!" I said, Aunt Arline, don't say that, we'd be lost without you. she said, "no really, it was the best dream I've ever had in my whole life!" I didn't think too much about it at the time but looking back now about that day, it makes me think...I'm very sad that she's gone. I still can't believe it, but what she said to us that day just keeps running over & over in my mind & I realize that she's living her dream, that's she's w/God & Uncle Charlie & it's as wonderful as she described it that day! She's at peace & will be eternally happy. We were blessed to have her in our lives. Lynn & Bill

Dear God in Heaven above
Today is the day that You took someone we love
We know that we need not worry
Because Your there with her with open arms
Dear God in Heaven above
The woman that stands before You was deeply loved
Although it seems it is the end
Now the memories of her shall begin
Dear God in Heaven above
We are here today with sorrow & grief
But when we look up in Heaven there will be a sence of relief
Because the woman before You is in a better place
Today is not a day of death, but rebirth
Because she lived a long and healthy life here on earth
So in this day we will look back no more
Because on this day we know she's with You, Jesus Christ our Lord
The woman that left us will truly be missed
For all that knew her we know that we were blessed
Dear God in Heaven above
The woman that I refer to was a daughter, wife, aunt, sister, God mother & dear friend
For when our time comes we know that we will see her again
Dear God in Heaven above
We pray that You will guide us to see this through
Hold us and keep us safe in all that we do
