Robert Rose Obituary

Entered into rest July 9 of Salem. Dear son of the late Reuben and Tillie (Mannos) Rose. Devoted father of Marcy and her husband Richard Dion of Danvers, Lorrie and her husband Skip Keating of Beverly, Rhonda and her husband Bill Andler of Salem, and Richard Rose of Ipswich. Cherished grandfather of Crystale and Robyn Dion, Melinda and Brendan Cripps, Justina and Katie Keating, Jessica and Michael Larsen, Jason and Jack Rose, and great grandfather of Jared Cripps and Jocelyn Keating. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Services at the Stanetsky-Hymanson Memorial Chapel, 10 Vinnin St., Salem-Swampscott line on Sunday, July 13 at 10 a.m. Interment in the Farband Cemetery, Danvers. Memorial observance Sunday only at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Dion. In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy in his memory may be donated to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St, Framingham MA 01701.

Grandpa, you were an amazing grandfather to me, and a great person to everyone. You always made sure you were at all of our family functions, and I'll miss you not being there now. Even if you didn't realize it you made a difference in many of our lives. You were there for my mom and walked her down the aisle, because she considered you her real dad, and my aunts would always tell me that they also looked up to you as their father. You were looked up to by many people, and a lot of people will miss you. Look over all of us, and sorry you couldn't see us all grow up. I love you and will miss you. And I speak for Kayla when I say this too, I will always be your little lady bug :)
