It's summer....remembering the backyard pool and how
many hours you spent cleaning it! Even if no one used it,
you loved standing out there and caring for it! I was so
lucky to have you for my husband for 24 years!

Steve, can it really be 13 years? The kids and I still talk about you, and laugh all the time. With all you went through, you still kept your sense of fun, and still loved us all as much as we loved you. How I wish you were still here with me!

It's been twelve years, but I still think of you every day, and what our lives would be like. The kids are grown,
the grandchildren are almost grown, and still you are missed so much! You would be so proud of everyone.

Dad...I miss you every day. You always had time for me, and always a joke to help me out. You were taken from us way too soon...but in our hearts you will never leave us.
All I want is for you to know how much you were loved by all of us.

To my Steve:
You fought long and hard against an illness that could not be conquered, yet you loved life and were determined to hold on to it. I am glad that if you had to leave me, it was quick, and that we were together. My voice was the last thing you heard. To me you are as I saw you last, napping at Milford Hospital. You hated to be awakened, so I'll just let you sleep, hopefully dreaming of all of us who loved you so much.

I was extremely emotional and saddened to hear of Stephens passing. He was a wonderful husband and father and he loved his family more than anything and it showed in everything he said and did. I can only remember all the good things that he did not only for his family but for others. The thoughtful gifts he would buy for you, and the extravagent way he showed his affection towards you was always obvious! He will surely be missed by all. When we spoke Friday, I knew you would and could be strong for the kids and grandkids, you are also a wonderful friend and I love you very much. Stephen will always be in my heart! His smile, his laugh and his wit!
