I can't believe it has been one year. I feel her absence at family get togthers. She is up with the angels sitting with Grammie and Grampie at the "kitchen table" watching over the rest of us.

Time helps heal but Kelly will never be forgotten. She was an inspiration to me. Her smile, her laugh and her caring for everyone expecially for her children. Her love of life is what I hope to take with me from being her friend. Forever missed.

A few years ago when the Blackhawks team was created, there was a parents meeting and I remember seeing Kelly talking and her laughter just made you smile. David, Jessica, Ashley, Auntie Eva, Brian and Sean,
Kelly was always this big ball of sunshine. Every time she walked into a room the whole room lit up. I am 10 years older than her and remember even as a baby how "cute" and "bubbly" she was.
We, somehow, have to try to remember the good times. I too lost a parent as a teenager and know how comfusing the feelings can me.
Keep the faith and I am here for any of you for any reason.

I had known Kelly Willoughby since we were both 4 years old. I can't say enough kind things about her and her family. Her mother, Eva was like a second mother to me. My husband and David grew up together. Her children are wonderful, beautiful and bright. Although we had not spoken in a year, I always thought we would socialize again.
