Ron & Patty,
So sorry to hear of your brother' James death. At this age, we always hope for many more years, however, sometimes the good Lord doesn't answer our prayers. You may not remember me, however, I graduated with you Ron and my sister Monica Westrick Groebel graduated with Patty. I am sending you our deepest sympathy to the entire family. Currently, I have relocated from the Johnstown area to Cornwall, PA (near Hershey) as of 1 July and reside in a 55 plus active community. I try to read the Johnstown paper monthly, mainly the obituary. Ron, I see where we lost Charles Soisson, last year and earlier this month one of his sister's passed away. God bless you all and I will leave my e.mail if you care to reply. Always in Christ, Mary Ann (Westrick) Shostek-Craig

Sean, Kevin, Danny, Chis, Eric, and Jodi, and all who knew Jim.

I was sad to hear the news.

Jim was the salt of earth.

He touched everybody he met, and their lives were better.

Since the E.S.A.C. days on Amory Street, to working with Jim at Rent A Kid and at Maple Movers I have always admired him.

I will miss him and Chis is welcoming him into her arms again.

I was so sorry to hear about Jim. We met many years ago on Casey Street where he always had the time and patience to show his big white truck to my then young boys. Even after he moved we would still see him around town and he would boast about his kids and grandkids and joke with my son James that he was always his favorite only to go on and say that it was because of his great name. My family and I will miss him greatly.

I was so very saddened to learn of Jim's passing. I first met Jim probably close to 25 years ago as my best friend from growing up was Jim's nephew. Through that connection we shared many events of the years including the annual family thanksgiving football game. My thoughts and prayers go out to Eric, Jodi and Kris Ann. Your father was a great guy, and this world will be a far lesser place without him.

My best memories of Jim were of his jovial personality. He kidded me about eldeberry jelly I made that didn't "gel" and he ended up using it as pancake syrup!
When he met my daughter Addy, Jim found reasons to kid & joke with her. Addy told me "there's no doubt he's family and likes me, I got teased a lot, just like Pop-Pop, (Uncle Bernie) did to me!"

We are stunned and devastated at this sudden loss. Jim couldn't live without Chrissie. Our deepest sympathies go to all the Knopps, who have suffered this tragedy so soon after Chrissie's passing. --Harvard Recycling Services

Jim, was my neighbor and a wonderful man. Every time I walked my dogs, he would call me over, talk to my dogs and we would chat. He loved showing me his back yard and how proud he was of his "conservation" set up, that he so cleverly worked on.
Please know that Jim will be missed dearly every time I pass his home.
Our prayers will be filled with sincere hope for the Family that lost both their Mother and Father so soon and way too quickly !
Jim. Rest in peace aside Christine.
With sadness, Janet and Paul Folan
